About me:

My name is Felix Deschmann. I am a huge game enthusiast, who decided to make his hobby into his career path. Early on I decided to go on a technical highschool to focus on media technology, which I would continue after graduating there on the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten where I began my bachelor studies in media technology. After receiving my bachelor’s degree, I went to the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien where I began my master studies in Game Engineering and Simulation which I am about to finish. Along my educational way I was part of many game projects, some of which have been even released in early access or beta stages. You can read about my projects in the sectiion underneath this one.


My Projects:

Chonky – From Breakfast to Domination

Chonky is a top down RPG, where the player has to work with a “Hidden Skill Tree”. Only after they unlocked a skill, they learn which actions were actually necessary to do so. Thus, similar to the cuddly and rather stupid main characters they control, they are only left with the possibility of trying out everything they can think of to learn something new.

Ambigame

Being developed as part of my master thesis, Ambigame is a serious game developed to be used as an aid for ethics teachers to help students engage more with ambivalent situations.

The Innkeeper

The Innkeeper is an innkeeping simulation game in a fantasy world setting, where the player takes the role of Woody who is assigned with the task to run his guild’s inn at the crossing of the seven nations. Every nation has their own taste in food and beverages, and if they are not pleased with how they are treated in the inn, they might choose to raid it at night.
